Doctors and nurses are very dismissive. When asked about what's going on with my health, the nurses always put in the wrong information on the computer, and then when my doctor walks in, I have to re-explain everything. And of course, when I do explain, they're very dismissive and ALWAYS try to blame it on my diet. I tend not to get sick very often, but when I do, it's very painful and abnormal in different ways each time. My doctor is always dismissive of my pain and has never prescribed me antibiotics once. She gets me to give her a review of my diet and then critiques it. I'd say my diet is healthy, besides occasional snacks, but my doctor treats me like I'm overweight (when I'm definitely not. I weigh 120 lbs.) I am growing incredibly frustrated, and this makes me never want to go here again.

Had a family member go in with breathing problems and chest pain. The staff did the initial tests to identify that it wasn't immediate life or death and then we proceeded to sit in an almost empty (10 patients or less) waiting room for 2 hours. With the extremely long wait times between any form of service, our trip to the ER here lasted over 5 hours whereas the other local hospitals would have had us out in not more than 2 hours and probably less than 1.

Doctor is eager to diagnose you and ship you out as soon as you come in. Won't let you ask any questions and just walks out of the room. Nurses don't wear gloves when touching patients. I watched them put their bare hands all over someone who warned them they had an active herpes outbreak. Don't know who the nurse was that wanted to tell me "if you're going to interrupt me I won't read these discharge papers to you" as if I was inconveniencing her over MY CARE. I watched you kick trash underneath a stretcher with no care. These people should not be in the business of "helping" others. They're careless, rude, incompetent. I'll just die at home instead.

My first visit at holy family hospital was 36 years ago to give birth to my son. All went well and they had a great maternity department. I can't say the rest has been a good experience for me. Since the birth of my son. I have experienced the worst quality of care anyone could ever get and I highly recommend no one use this hospital ever. I took my son in with pneumonia when he was a year and a half old was told repeatedly for a week. Nothing was wrong yet. He ended up in the hospital. I stayed with him 24/7 when I did leave for 10 minutes to go have a cigarette. I came back to his door, closed the IV wrapped around his neck and the nurses completely ignoring his cries. Since then I have had other bad experiences also and one of the worst ever has been within the past month. A dear friend of mine went in with breathing problems 3 days later after she was doing well. The doctor came in and told her daughter they were taking her off of the fast air oxygen and began to tell her how her mother would react when she quit breathing and died. They just wanted to give up and pull the plug. Thank God that was stopped. She has recovered nicely and was put into rehab because the doctors at Providence holy family hospital left her in the bed for a month. Never let her exercise. So now she's in rehab to regain the muscle strength in her legs. She has bed sores and the report they gave to the physical therapist said she had only been there for 3 days. The practices at holy family hospital are atrocious. If you want to die go there. Nothing great at all to say at all about that place. You guys suck

Worst hospital ever. My mom has stage four cancer and they aren’t going to her when needed. Mom was covered in stickiness and it took 30 mins after she pressed the button and be calling twice to see what’s going on and why they weren’t helping her! Just to leave me with some one being rude about it. You can’t blame me for being worried when I read all these comments and reviews. Do better. Actually do your job. K thanks !!
