Wonderful experience here! Very kind and.patient staff with my mom. They even played Elvis for her while she had her procedure. She will forget most things now, but I know she will never forget that. Many thanks to everyone there!

This post is long overdue, but I needed to comment on Dr. Woolley. He is extremely professional and easy to get along with. Prior to seeing him I had chronic ingrown toenails and had been to 4-5 podiatrists and had about 16 ingrown toenails removed. Dr. Woolley listened to my concerns and my history and agreed to permanently remove the nails in question. Not only was it painless, it actually lasted. I’ve been without toenails (and their associated problems) for almost two years now and I’ve never been happier.
He worked on some other issues for me and had success there as well but I have to rave about my toenails. I am military and he took Tricare so that made it an easy choice. If you’re having any foot issues, I can’t recommend him enough. Truly a great guy and his office staff was nice too.

I had been dealing with a neuroma between my third and fourth toes on my left foot for four years. I'm an avid hiker and outdoorsman, and this condition had finally become a real problem and was threatening that livelihood. After working with another podiatrist for a year, and having mixed results and uncertainties about surgical procedures my primary recommended Dr Woolley. He turned out to be quite reassuring and confident which won me over.
Surgery was at the beginning of November '22. After a week of being laid up I was back on my feet, albeit a bit hobbily. Did my best not to stress the foot while it healed, and at the four week checkup all turned out great. I'll be checking in with Dr Woolley (and here) in a year to assess any progress or complications, but as of now (February '23) all is well.
Having said all that there has been a break-in period for my new foot. The permanent numbness isn't nearly as bad as some stories I've read, but it is there. The end of the nerve that was cut out has been sensitive since the procedure to this day. If I touch the area where the neuroma was the nerve will fire which is uncomfortable, but manageable (mostly experienced when I wash my feet in the shower). Luckily this effect isn't as intense during walking, and it abates more each week with more use.
I am very satisfied with the experience and results of the procedure, and Dr. Woolley's professionalism. I had my worries initially, but all has worked out quite well. Thank you, Dr. Woolley for saving my foot.
EDIT 12/22/23: The following July, 7 months later, my symptoms began returning. Started with pebble-in-shoe feeling that progressed to strong ache when in-shoe. Never got back to numbness or burning, but the ache was quite strong by the end of November this year when I decided to have Dr Woolley revise the surgery to remove the stump.
This time he had to go through the bottom of the foot to remove another inch of nerve. Surgery was generally the same process, but the recovery has been substantially more challenging as one might imagine. The complications have been that after removing the sutures the scar tissue that was left over is causing a substantial amount of pain itself. This pain isn't relegated to just when wearing footwear, it is constant now. The saving grace is that it is primarily in the arch of my foot so I am not applying direct pressure to it when walking, but it is applying enough stress to the surrounding nerves to cause a constant ache that can be enhanced by how I position or flex my foot.
The week following the suture removal has seen some improvement, I am able to bear weight on my foot and maintain a normal gait, but the pain is ever-present, just not prohibitive. I have another follow up in 5 weeks so I hope the progress continues, but I will update again then.

Dr. Darron Woolley and his staff are fantastic and highly recommend them. We took our son there several times for several wart removal treatments on his feet. Dr. Woolley recommended a new treatment called "Swift" that removed our son's stubborn plantar warts so much less painfully and more effectively than other "old-fashioned" treatments. Robyne and the rest of the team were extremely professional and helpful.

This office is awesome! The staff is great and Dr. Woolley is great. Let's you know what he's doing, answers all your questions, you don't feel rushed and best of all he smiles and is very personable. The work he did is looking great and I would refer him to anyone for their care!
