I had a stroke at a very young age last week and this was the closest hospital to home. My roommate had me brought here by ambulance and I was put in their care. Not only did they work hard to get me stable and prevent any lasting damage, they were all courteous, kind, respectful and very helpful. My privacy and various requests were honored, any questions I had were asked, and everyone - from the doctor on duty, to nurses, room service, janitorial, and just passing specialists would check in to see if I needed anything above and beyond the scope of their duty. This is my first time as a patient here, but I would trust them to look after me again.

The emergency room seems to close up after 1 a.m I was actually told by a nurse the best time is between 1and 5 because they have nothing to do. I’m still waiting 2 and a half hours later, only 4 patients in the waiting room. Has been that way since I got here!

Do not go to this hospital of hell!
This is the worst hospital I've ever been too. The nurses are rude and aggressive in handling patients. They act like everyone is there drug seeking and treat everyone with absolute disgust. The nurses are aweful, careless and outright in humane! the rooms were filthy. There was blood on the floor in my room and no paper on table I was to sit on. My gown did not have ties or snaps and there were stains on it as if it was worn by the last patient. Dr Smith was so short with me and his hands were dirty his stethoscope had blood splatters on it and was so rude to me I said excuse me, then he just left the room without finishing the exam. Nurses came in and told me I had 2 minutes to get dressed and leave the room. I wish i had gotten nurses names, it was straight up abusive the way they all treated me. This hospital and staff are terrible and should be shut down!

One week ago I took my sister to Holy Family Emergency, she was admitted and had surgery the next day. The entire staff was always so friendly, helpful & considerate. Needless to say I was exhausted & lost trying to find the cafeteria after her surgery. Rick at the main visitor check-in desk told me it was closing in 8 minutes. I just kinda shock my head and next thing I know Rick is escorting me to the cafeteria and stayed with me till he was sure I could get back to my sisters room with my food. Totally amazing! Such a Blessing 🙏🏻😍 Awesome hospital and excellent staff 💛

Sitting in the emergency room now 2 hours with my neighbor, possible stroke. 21 other people waiting to see a doctor. I don't understand how a hospital can operate this way. Was at Sacred Hart last week was in waiting room 9 hours, then in Exam room another 4 hours before Dr. came in.
