My other half has stage 4 cancer and multi care has been great but not the valley hospital emergency room. I took her to valley hospital and after an hour she couldn't sit there anymore and wanted to come home. But they did take about 8 people in that came in after us while we waited. I asked if I needed to call an ambulance to take her to sacred heart but they said they wouldn't pick her up from there. We headed to sacred heart but she wanted to come home and go in the morning. Returned to emergency room and it has been 3 hours of people coming and going most the really sick ones are still sitting in the lobby. The ones that can walk went straight back. One guy can’t even talk my other half is trying to cover him with a blanket and help him. This place is a joke. And dirty bathrooms covered in piss, the floors are covered in garbage. If she dies it is because of lack of the service you get from there staff. talked to head of house and she said no way to let us know when a good time is to go to ER. I told her getting her there was difficult because she can hardly walk and I would probably have to call an ambulance. I asked what the wait time was for being seen when taken by ambulance and she said she did not know. I have never in my life seen such incompetence when it comes to health care. After 3 hours got bought back to an empty ward.they brought 4 groups back at the same time. Doctor and nurse both nice.

Wish I could do - stars Worst hospital ever!!!! Absolutely horrible negligence care especially in icu but all around whole hospital. To the security team to the administrative staff to the nurses very very rude they discriminate, Try n force you to give up on loved ones, cause worsening conditions to illness or cause new ones to occur. Took our mom in for dehydration and loss of appetite. Very sick. She needed help. From first sight they consistently tried to convince us of not getting her help but choosing hospice when she was not dying . She ended up admitting. Sent to icu few weeks later she ends up with a collapsed lung. Then ends up on a ventilator. Whole time drs are putting there own personal input on what I need to do telling me they can change legal forms my mom had in place. After weeks of being on the ventilator the nurses went thru her personal belongings made false reports causing her only advocates to not be aloud up with her. Mind you she can’t speak she in on a ventilator they refused to remove even after passing several spontaneously breathing trials . The. They told us she needed a trach or she would have to go in comfort care she had 0 other choices. Due to the fact they kept her on the ventilator to long. My mom came home dehydrated skin and bones. With a trach and not able to walk. She told us she was treated horribly. If I can advise or just help anyone from being mistreated and going through all me and my family went through I advise you never go to the valley hospital!!! There isss so much worse they had done it take a book full for the two months my mom was in for . They denied transferring her they were very very u professional trying to get help with the issues we were experiencing. It was a nightmare!!! Avoid this hospital at all cost!

It was the most awful experience I've ever had!! I attempted suicide because I had reached rock bottom. In a bad marriage, disowned by my mother for something I had no control over. Anyway, I was treated like some kind of villain at the hospital. When my husband came to pick me up I heard one of them say that they were glad I'm his problem now. I realize now that that was a stupid thing to do and will never try again but the lack of empathy was over the top

A few weeks ago I walked in experiencing severe pain, I had been in pain for 4 hours prior. I walked in gave them my name and they put the cuff on my arm and a bracelet. Less than 10 minutes goes by I go to the restroom and to my surprise pain stops. Must have been a kidney stone. I signed out and left. Lucky me got a bill for over $1,000 today. Called their billing company and it's for a urine sample that I don't remember giving to them, and the people who took my name and did the "vitals".. Also for waiting in their waiting room. I never saw a doctor! I wasn't helped or anything. They just took my info. I solved my own problem. I'm paying for sitting in their lobby less than 10 minutes, giving them my name and for a urine sample I didn't give them. Must have forgot it on the counter when signing myself out. I could understand if this was a normal thing I did once a month or whatever but this is the only time.

Every nurse and tech that helped me was so kind and informational. It was the first time I’ve ever been to an ER and I got in sooner than expected. Which is very shocking, because you think ER you’re expected to wait hours. My nurse was Stacy and he was so kind and helpful. He even saved the day when no one could find my vein. My doctor was Ashlee Weimar and she had a warm presence and made me feel very comfortable. They sadly had me in the hallway during my stay (which is out of their control) and every nurse and tech smiled and checked on me when walking by. Some even made some funny jokes to lighten the mood. I can’t thank everyone enough!!
